Granada Street Art

Continuing with the Granada theme, a collection of images shot around one of Andalucia’s most ancient cities. Granada’s street art is more than just graffiti; it more closely resembles murals or canvas paintings and adorns walls, shutters and shop fronts particularly in the Realejo (old Jewish quarter). Much of it carries a political or social theme but it just as frequently draws upon well-known art and philosophy from the 19th and 20th centuries.

      1. Yes, I spent 3 weeks volunteering in Berlin (back in the days of the Love Parade, and I wish I’d got some photos of that) Great city, with the best graffiti I’ve ever seen! I’ve been through Bavaria too though, loved it!
